Info Sessions
CANTEACH students are able to apply and attend CANTEACH University options abroad for the July 2025, Fall (Aug/Sept) 2025 and Jan/Feb 2026 and beyond (last updated March 4th, 2025).**
Teacher Education Programs are available for CANTEACH students at the Auckland University of Technology (AUT-NZ), the University of Canterbury (UC-NZ), the University of the West of Scotland (UWS-Scotland) and Cardiff Metropolitan University (Cardiff Met-Wales).
January (UC) 2025, February (AUT) 2025 and July (AUT) 2024 CANTEACH groups are currently studying in Auckland, New Zealand (AUT) and Christchurch, New Zealand (UC). CANTEACH students are also attending their programs at the University of the West of Scotland (August) and Cardiff Metropolitan University (September) 2024. October 20th marked the January and February 2025 Pre-departure meetings for UC and AUT and an Information session for UWS and Cardiff Met Fall 2025 groups. A great day in Toronto.
Mike Johnson will be doing CANTEACH Presentations on zoom and attending CANTEACH Tables with University Representatives from abroad for many Ontario Universities in March 2025. University or combined sessions, see schedule below TBC (EST/ON time).
Mike Johnson and University Representatives are going to be in Toronto March 23rd, 2025. These in person sessions in Toronto serve as Pre-departure Meetings and as Information Sessions for all CANTEACH University options. CANTEACH Graduates Teaching in Ontario will be on hand to meet and discuss their experience directly to interested students (and parents) during these sessions.

October 19th, 2025 CANTEACH Pre-departure & Information Session Schedule in Toronto will be the Jan/Feb 2026 Pre-departure Meeting and Information Sessions for AUT & UC (New Zealand) and an Information for Cardiff Met & UWS (Scotland & Wales), for August and September 2026. Please mark this date in your calendar.
Zoom sessions of the overall CANTEACH presentation take place monthly. These sessions are intended for those students interested in finding out more information about CANTEACH and the University Programs in Teacher Education ie. costs, accommodation, certification, application information and the overall timeline for the process to attend Teachers College abroad.
All Zoom sessions have the same CANTEACH Zoom meeting ID of 352 885 8645 and take place monthly. I look forward to seeing anyone who would like to attend these sessions soon. Email Mike Johnson to confirm your Zoom session passcode.
